Paradise island deserves that name for sure. The staff is amazing, the selection of activities to do here is humongous and there is nothing you can't have. There are more than 3 restaurants on the island, 2 bars and a wonderful spa centre which will treat you like in heaven. I've been here 2 times and I will definitely come back again. You can choose between a garden/beach bungalow or a water bungalow (as an upgrade) or the luxurious haven villas.

It is a Paradise over there. Very friendly staff, awesome location & very nice meals. Things are really costly although, but once you get there, you'll feel its totally worth it.

Wow! Beautifull island. Super friendly staff and a nice animation team. Also the food (buffet) was amazing every day.

The resort lives up to its name with its lovely white sand beaches, crystal clear waters with harmless sharks and sting rays swimming along with you and a bunch of wonderful courteous staff. The place is a 20min boat ride from the Male airport, which the resort arranges. The food is great but naturally gets repetitive after 3 days. Coffee is awful so avoid it as far possible. My suggestion is choose the superior beach bungalow...the garden villa is not beach facing and the water villa does not allow you easy access to the beach but only to the water directly. The place is expensive as every price is denominated in US dollars. But overall a place to consider if you think of Maldives.

Such an amazing place! Spent there 12 beautiful days of our honeymoon, great place for a photoshoot as well. Maldives is like different world and this Island is truly a Paradise! Nice, clean beaches, gorgeous sunsets and beautiful warm sea, warm every time no matter it rains or not. A lot of activities on island, tennis, squash, billiard, ping pong, gym. You can rent bikes or just walk the island, it’s not even kilometre long by 300 meters wide. For relaxation there is sauna an jacuzzi as well as big Spa. Water sports available too, yacht, jet boats and many more.
Food was great, menu had so many varieties, every day we’d eat something new.
Staff is very friendly and helpful they do their job best!
Next time if we go to Maldives we’ll pick a different date though, we went there in May and this when the rain season starts, we got a lot of rainy and windy days unfortunately, but still had fun. However the best time to get here would be anywhere from August to February when it’s dry here.

Cool place ..I stayed there..and the water Villas are truly awesome..the restaurants are cool.. one is with Indian delicacies. .so great to taste the food there with live band...6 restaurants and 2 bars..

It was an awesome experience, the hospitality is top notch, and they Ambience and nature is just flawless. If you want seclusion with full modern amneties you must surely visit here.
Water sports here is a little bit expensive but then you are at a 4 star place.
Moreover you wont be feeling raw waves, as they break before coming to the shore, thanks to the big rocks they have placed over the periphery of the island.
Superior beach bungalow's are best here, though if you want to indulge more surely try the water villas.
They give you an exquisite experience, and you will cherish these memories for many months to come.

Fantastic location. However due to bad weather we couldn't explore much. Beach facing houses are nice. But as you go away it kind of loses its view. In the middle views are pretty good. Staff needs improvement. They don't understand English sometimes. Also Indian vs non-indian discrimination is visible. Bit crowded as well.

Clear shallow water.. wonderful water villas.. amazing service.. awesome adventures... fascinating flora and fauna..

A place in sync with its name 'Paradise'. Yes it's a paradise on the planet earth. Honeymooners, vacationers would have a gala time here with beachside stay, good food, spa, water activities and shopping. Though it's priced bit high every dollar you spend here is worth it. Go for this place for a good hospitality and scenic tranquility. I can vouch for this place in the current year 2018 :)

Nice resort and spa. It’s just about 15 min ride on speed boat from Male International airport to the island. Nice beaches, restaurants. Spa is great, beautiful, huge and many option to relax. Full board is good choice. But you will eat in same restaurant all time. Food is good and buffet have big range of food from many salads to entrances. You can go in different restaurants on the property for additional cost.

We stayed at paradise island resorts for 4 nights. Had dinner at this Italian restaurant almost very night. It provided best tasting food of all the restaurants there. The view from this restaurant was amazing. I liked their mushroom cream soup. The best mushroom cream soup I ever had. I had Ordered two soups on the final day, still did not get enough of it. I miss that soup every now and then. Do try the soup. :-)

Clean, Friendly staff's, good itinerary for daily activities, different restaurant to give one varieties to pick where to wine & dine. Several water sport activities, jet skis, parasailing, jet surf, kiting, blob etc table tennis, lawn tennis, squash, badminton, billiards, swimming pool, and a gym.

This is a private island resort. You have to take their transportation mode which is 104 dollar per person airport-resort-airport transfer. The resort is awesome, specially water and haven villas. Water near villas is crystal clear. They organize activities like shark feeding, sting ray feeding, etc. In the evening. Food is also good.

Great place for relaxing! Beach villas on north - east is good... First 20 houses on south east can also be considered...

A very cool resort, not far from the capital of the Maldives, the territory is pretty big, the food is good too. It offers a variety of water activities and provides a lunch trip for tourists. You will find the place to relax alone on the island. Water is cool, corals are across the beach though

The most beautiful place I have ever been to. Stunning sunsets and crystal clear blue water. The beach bungalows are average and overlook the beach but the water villas are truly amazing and totally worth the price. Everyone gets their own private piece of ocean and every water villa has a hot tub. It is quite common to see many different fish and baby sharks swim right next to you in the water. The shark and sting ray feedings are worth watching and are free for all. The spa was relaxing af but a bit overpriced. The breakfast buffet is vast and has everything you can imagine. The staff are extremely friendly and there's a free buggy(golf cart) service in case you're lazy to walk. Overall, probably the best 5 days of my life~

Stayed in the water villa for 2 nights for our honeymoon and we both really loved it! We stayed on the island the whole 3 days (early Feb 2018) strolling around the beach, snorkeling straight from the back of our villa, watched shark feeding and fed stingray (everyday at 6.30 for shark feeding and 7PM for stingray feeding).

The staffs were very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Snorkeling gears could be rent only for US$ 10 from 8.30AM-5.30PM. We could find many small coral fishes, sharks, and also stingrays (not dangerous but we didn't get too close to them). There were not too many people in the resort so we felt like we were on a private island.

You could walk around the resort or take the free buggy whenever there is empty one passing-by.

For food, I highly recommended the Italian restaurant there. It offers the best view compared to other restaurants, and the food was amazing! Had antipasto platter and prosciutto pizza for lunch. The portion was too big for us so we kept the leftover pizza for dinner at our villa.

Beautiful place. Loved it. The employees here are very courteous and greet us whenever they see us. Slightly expensive but still cheaper than other resorts.

Full five 🌟 to Paradise! It's location close to Male makes the arrival/departure easy; the water villas are amazing big - can easily sleep more than 3 if needed; the large panoramic windows from the Villa give a breathtaking view of the lagoon and the ocean beyond; talking of which, the lagoon behind the water villas is big, clean, shallow, and alive with corals and marine life! In some ways, snorkeling in it was better than the diving views on the reef around this island.
Restaurants are good too, though I wudve appreciated some more variety of food in them, instead of being predominantly Indian cuisine.

Visiting this resort island in Maldives at the new year's eve is turning out to be an awesome experience. The superior beach bungalow is really luxurious with all possible amenities provided. Right from landing at Male international Airport to check-in at the hotel the process was really smooth. Even the speed boat ride till thw hotel in the middle of the vast ocean was amazing. The beach is very quiet with less crowding. At a distance of approximately 10 to 15 meters from the beach in the waters you can find some dead corals in which you can find a school of tiny and medium sized colourful fishes. Just let the water settle down and you can see them swimming around you. At night after dinner you can join the resort staff feeding sting rays. Even you can feed them too. It's quite safe. I also saw some small sharks swimming around the stingrays. Till now its been a very pleasant experience. Hope the new year's party to be equally awesome. Happy new year 2017 in advance to all of you! :)

It is expensive place but reasonable when compared to other similar and near by resorts. It have great restaurants, the sea villas are marvelous... the bungalows are also very personalized and fronted with the beach. Crazy beautiful nature... clear sky with blue sea... white sands and delicious food. Highly recommended.

Beautiful island and great service at resort, loads of fun and adventure activities available at island.
Go for the crystal clear water and white sand beach. During evening you can attend the reef shark feeding show at one end and manta ray feeding show at the other end of the island. Boats are available during day time for dolphin show as well.

beach is a neat area, that you can “do” in a few days, soaking up the food, drink and vibes that go with it. Best thing to do is patio hop, eating all the way along, and getting the 2 for 1 drink specials in early while you can. Be wary of menus that don’t show drink prices... they aren’t listed for a reason (way expensive!), but don’t hesitate to ask either. 

Architecture and colours are amazing, and the people watching is the thing to do, so either pull up a chair or strut your stuff - anything goes in south beach!

Paradise Island Resort is an amazing resort for a honeymoon destination!!! The staff, island, tropical weather, beautiful waters, and amazing spacious living accommodations make it a romantic destination. Upon arrival till departure, we were taken care of by everyone at the resort. The food buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner were different menus each day, which are so so tasty! We truly enjoyed our honeymoon as there are activities included at the resort, or if you want to take it easy you can do that too. Snorkeling is a must as well as the shark feeding and stingray feeding demonstrations in the evening! We will definitely come back for another trip, highly highly recommended!!!!!

Amazing 5* property in paradise island. Trained staff, excellent beach. With water sports, indoor games and spa to relax. Well suited for families where children can spend all day in different activities.

Great staff and great things to enjoy. Scuba is great. There is more than the beach and warm transparent sea water. Great for two and families.

Gorgeous island, wonderful property, spacious rooms, well trained staff and good buffet spread to suit all nationalities. From meet and greet at the airport till the drop off, it was smoothly done.

Fish dishes at the buffet could have been more tender considering the location.

Overall, it was an extremely relaxing and rejuvenating holiday.

AMAZING. Best resort I have ever been to. Amazing crystal clear water, white soft sand, great snorkeling (worth it to bring your own snorkel set with flippers, and water shoes... however they have rentals available too). Food was great too, especially if you like South Asian food. All drinking water was bottled water and safe. The Water Villa was amazing, and worth the money. One of the few resorts that let an infant stay in the over water villas...we brought our 1 year old and he really enjoyed it.

Beach bungalows are probably ordinary but the ocean villas though quite expensive are out of this world and are totally worth it. Even the water villa which is the most basic one out of the ocean villas is . Perfect for a 2-3 day getaway. There is a separate restaurant which serves buffets exclusive for guests at ocean villas. This entire ocean villa section is built to be hovering just above the sea. The water villa consists of the usual indoor part, the bathroom and an outdoor part which is almost as big as the indoor area. The indoor area is similar to a room of a very fine hotel. In the outdoor area which is open to the wide blue sea is where true tropical beach paradise is; an outdoor sofa, sunbathing chairs and a jacuzzi right beside one another. At night the jacuzzi can be made to light up in blue. The outdoor sofa is ideal for a relaxing read at dawn with the picturesque sight of the sun slowly rising above the sea in the background. The staircase at the edge of the outdoor area leads you to the clean and shallow water. The sea is calm and water here which is of a nice shade of blue is crystal clear and is home to a variety of beautiful little fishes. The very fine sand here is so clean and white. The bathroom can be made open towards the sea.

Blissful location. Calm, serene and everything you look for in a beach resort. Food menu was the same almost everyday. Italian restaurant at the resort had tasty options. Not many activities at the resort and water sports are expensive, however ideal place for relaxing.

A great choice for a Maldivian honeymoon.staff is absolutely friendly, good facility of restaurants and food, very relaxing place with nice lounge bar and music, great water spots but price quiet expensive. Rooms of choice should be water villa, right in front of the beach. Everyday they had an daily event like beach party, stringray feeding, shark feeding,etc...

Beautiful sand beaches and warm, pleasent sea. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is okay, not great but you can find something yummy for yourself. All inclusive option is not "all" at all so maybe check out before you select it. A wide range of activities and you can feed sting rays by hand in the evening. The waterfront beach bungalow was great and cleaned often.

The whole island is a resort. Food is expensive. But its worth it. The ambiance is unbeatable.

Most beautiful place I ve been to.Clean beaches with crystal clear waters,ample number of watersports,diving related activities.,lively bars,good food, gorgeous rooms etc etc.Cant stop praising this resort,the beach bungalows are awesome,you kind of have a private beach in front of your room.And the water Villas are a treat to spend your day, quite a bit costly though (the water villas).Overall we loved this place and would like to come back again.

this island also gives you some nice spots to dive on both sides of the island. i saw stingrays, sharks, turtles and loads of colorful fishes.
bad thing is, that people do not watch out for the coral and step on them...
