Green Engage

The IHG Green Engage system is our group-wide online sustainability program. It allows hotels to track, measure, and report on their carbon footprint and utility consumption as well as recommending more than 200 ‘Green Solutions’ which help deliver greater sustainability.
The IHG Green Engage system:
• Measures energy, waste, and water use

This includes advice on the management of green spaces and long-term strategies for protecting local environments.

The room was very comfortable, the bed was one of the best I've slept in. Staff was helpful in directing us to local places but was a little overbearing. I appreciate being thanked for being a loyal IHG member but after the 5th time thanking me I got the point. A silly thing to criticize the hotel for I guess. Overall this was a 5-star stay for us.

The breakfast served on the large patio was not good, the salmon made me feel a little sick and the scrabbled eggs were too runny. The breakfast waiter staff made me wait over 15 mins for my first coffee, but when I finally went over to the coffee counter to help myself they wouldn't let me. The whole breakfast experience took so long I decided to just take my plate of food back to my hotel room as I needed to make some calls and return to the hospital but they staff wouldn't let me. Most restaurant service in France is excellent, so it's not the norm. Even so, the view of Marseille from the court yard is very beautiful. I recommend getting breakfast from a local cafe just a short walk away.
As I returned in the evening I could hear live music playing from somewhere in the hotel - it's was such a perfect setting and quite romantic. I would definitely stay again. Amira rating: feeling the love :)
