I have stayed at this hotel a number of times during the Covid 19 Pandemic and the hotel and it’s staff have done a reasonably good job of offering a level of product and service that recognizes the challenges of the pandemic. They give their guests confidence that their safety and health is a priority while at the same time providing a minimum level of house keeping service.

I would say that relative to other hotels that are open, the price per night here is relatively high. On any given night, you can find cheaper rooms in Manhattan with the same level of service.

Nice clean hotel not far from the Brooklyn bridge which made it easy to jump back on the highway. We had an amazing corner rm with an amazing view so the sunrise and sun set was on point! Guest services was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was $30 but well worth it the only thing I didnt enjoy was the eggs. Walking distance to many food choices.

The main driver for 5 stars was had a really nice check in experience with the hotel staff. The attendant was friendly thorough and quick. Room was recently redone and nice. The breakfast buffet is overly expensive and I don’t recommend. Overall room rate with no refund but in advance was very competitive.

This hotel exceeded my standards. The staff was amazing, making a last minute change to my booking dates. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. The location was great; close to great shopping, restaurants and of course the Brooklyn Bridge and parks. It was refreshing to stay at a property out of Manhattan yet so conveniently close.

Attended a conference here. They have a good number of rooms to accommodate conferences of various sizes. Food was good. Very convenient to get here from Manhattan, with the 4,5,R,A,C,F trains all nearby. Many nearby eateries, parks & shopping.

The service at the Marriott are wonderfully helpful and do it with a smile. I was greeted as soon as I entered the door. I was escorted partly to my destination with pleasant conversation along the way. The Marriott is conveniently located in Downtown Brooklyn. It is close to numerous trains and buses. There are many great eateries near as well as a restaurant located inside the hotel itself. You have a beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge and parts of lower Manhattan.

Went for a business event. The bar is a cozy private area where I stayed for two hours without being bothered whole I sipped on a soda. Clean and modern. Parking conveniently attached and close. A+

The lobby is nice...that's all I can say at the moment because my room still isn't ready. When I mentioned that I had a dinner banquet to attend at 6p they told me they would make me a key for the fitness center so that I could get ready there. Seriously? Yes, I understand there is a conference but it was planned in advance...they KNEW these rooms needed to be ready! This is by far the WORST guest experience. After traveling...have to lug my bag to meetings because they didn't offer to hold my luggage. UPDATE: They were able to get me a room in the nick of time...thankfully I had a nice spacious room to get ready in and not the fitness center. The rooms are well appointed, large desk, L shaped couch with table and a modern large bathroom. I still cannot believe how ill prepared they were for a conference that they booked...Ive heard that those who arrived the previous day had the same issues of rooms not being available until well after check-in.

No restaurant in Hotel. No room service. No convenience store in or around hotel. Best thing going for this hotel is that there are food trucks
Parked outside the hotel until 3am. Restaurants near the hotel all close relatively early. (The food trucks are awesome btw)

Great hotel! Great pool! WONDERFUL staff...each and every one. The rooms themselves need upgrading. NOT ONE SINGLE drawer to put clothes, and the pillows are awful. ALL IN ALL I highly recommended this hotel.

I came here for a work event - the rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely helpful! The conference areas were also great. Docked one star because the walls are a little thin, so you can hear other guests in the halls and alarms going off in other rooms early in the morning.

A very clean hotel.... like you would expect from Marriott anywhere. The location is next to a driveway so that is convenient...but... this is N OT a great neighborhood. It feels like tou are in a business area on a weekend....ghost town. The y do not have room service. I would not choose this property unless I had a good reason to.... or someone else was paying.

We had a room with a great view to the bridge. Super roomy room. Softest bed and excellent service. Subway station it's steps way. 23 mins to Times Square. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel but we were unaware of the $25/day mandatory fee they charge you per day you stay. You get a $25 credit toward the restaurant in the hotel. But who's to say I want to eat there in the hotel when I can find food that I actually want and for less. You are kind of forced to use the credit, if you don't you just wasted $25 each day you are there. The parking is a bit much as well. $40 per day.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms are very modern. My room had a small couch and table area that I used for work. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there isn't a full-service restaurant on-site and the hotel does not offer room service.

Second time being here and it's a great spot love the staff and security is tight. Great place to have events as well! I suggest making sure that you either are taking an Uber here if you have a lot of bags or going when it's not peak hours of travel because the area is crowded.

Their e check in is wonderful. The food catering services are good depending on what you want for your event.

Bottom Line, best overall Hotel I have stayed in NYC that is NOT $500+ a night. Rooms are spacious, very well kept. Great bar in the Hotel + a strip of really good neighborhood restaurants are an easy walk away. Brooklyn Bridge is real close and on a nice day, its great fun and good exercise to walk across and you end up in the Wall Street area !

Really disappointing Marriott. Supposedly full service, but there was no room service, and no regular restaurant inside the hotel, just a self service menu in the bar at breakfast. No dinner service.

The platform bed mattress was like a futon mattress, uncomfortable. There was no water in the room for a Marriott elite member, not even for sale. I had to go to the lobby gift shop to buy bottled water. So inconvenient for a business trip, when you are trying to be productive. I can't believe this was after a remodel, so disappointing.

I love the Marriott! Did not stay here but it is my parking destination for downtown Brooklyn. Great parking accommodations and wonderful restaurant and lounge so you can get here early and chill. Nice place for meetings too. I go to at least one event here a year and they are very well managed by the event staff.

Decor is nice ,size of rooms wonderful Large and spacious. Close to several food places and the mall.
Staff:Horrible. Gina is very rude and made me uncomfortable about sleeping in a tad bit late. Most Marriott hotels will allow a late checkout,from an hour to 2/3 hours. Instead this woman said in an unpleasant tone it will be $75 for an extra hour and $150 for 2hours. I book under the family and friends rate for $109 a night so how does this add up? I’m concerned about safety as well they rope the elevators off at night and have a guard checking every key card .. it makes me wonder if something has happened before,and when I voiced my concerns about that as well I was also told in a snotty tone well they’re security that’s their job.
Marriott hire better employees because they definitely lost my business.

Great location. Relatively friendly & helpful staff. However - the design of this hotel is atrocious. It's like the developer said "give me every Brooklyn cliche," and the designer obliged. The rooms have terrible furniture (though I will couch for the very comfortable beds) and lighting that just makes no sense. The lobby bar/grab & go is nice, but again - why this graffiti wall? It's really just embarrassing.

Great hotel. Bed was super comfortable. King size bed had king size pillows! Rooms are big with nice amenities.

Gym is great. Pool looked clean but I didn't swim. Locker room was impressive. Need to use the shower before swimming.

Lounge was nicely stocked with drinks. Breakfast is available but I didn't eat there. Missed evening snacks too.

This is a great hotel with friendly staff. Abbas in the lobby bar, and the housekeeper on the 18th floor went out of there way to recognize me every day I was there. Great work guys! The hotel is a little noisy for those of us not use to the city noise but they have YouTube available on the televisions and I was able to find an 11 hour white noise video on there and it helped immensely. I slept like a baby after that. Overall a great experience. My only complaint was that one front desk agent seemed bothered when I approached her with questions and she never followed up with me on what my problem was.. everyone else was great.. thank you Brooklyn Marriott

I loved this place!!! It was so clean and the staff was so helpful. Especially when I forgot something in my hotel room after I had already checked out. They had no problem with retrieving my lost luggage! The pool is absolutely beautiful and is a perfect size for many people. Because I was there during the colder time of the year, I didn't get a chance to go to the outside pool, but I did get a look of it and it looked just as spacious as the inside pool. I cannot wait to go back to that hotel! I also forgot to mention that they have a gym. One thing that I will say though, is that breakfast was not free . And I will say that was disappointing. But overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Didn't stay in the rooms as I was there for a one day conference in one of the conference rooms. However, I love the decor of the bar/lounge. It is a great space to have meetings with clients. They also have wifi available at no charge to visitors. Staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel conveniently located in Brooklyn. One mile walk to the Brooklyn bridge, and easy access to the subway. Staff was responsive and worked to keep things clean and in good condition. Breakfast options are limited and coffee was just okay. Never got to try dinner, as the kitchen closes as 11:30.

We have stayed 12 days total in November over two stays. Pleasant accommodations, the staff was kind save for one security guard. The hotel is clean and very on brand for Marriott. The walk to the rooms can be long and there is no mini fridge or microwave in the room or water bottles. No room service and rates can fluctuate, with platinum our highest rate 451 and lowest was 220 over the seven day stay. There is no restaurant in the hotel for lunch or late night snacking but they have breakfast and dinner service. The lounge is very nice and if you are not gold/platinum it costs 50/day for access and they offer free sodas and breakfast before 10am. After 5:30 only on weekdays they have warm appetizers and sweets. Delivery can not come to your room, but you can collect it from the lobby. It was difficult to keep the room cool but the window opened enough to allow nice airflow. Great hotel for business and sleep but not a lot of amenities. But to be fair if you are in Brooklyn there is a lot more to do than sit at a hotel. We will book this hotel again and plan to for another two weeks in December.

Rooms were nice. Anywhere in the hotel I went appeared clean. Staff was very helpful to me. Downsides were normal for NYC including expensive room, expensive parking, and a bit of an awkward hotel layout. Do yourself a favor and eat outside the hotel as there are many delicious local spots. The guys working the front door were top notch. They helped the people I was with and me many times and were knowledgeable of the area. I would stay here again.

I did not stay overnight or anything at the hotel, but I was there long enough to know how great it is! It's frequented by celebrities and politicians because of its close proximity to the Barclay Center, but it's also affordable. Beautiful place and excellent location with top notch service from ALL the workers, the Marriott is great for business or leisure!

This hotel was a wonderful surprise! Very well located and with very nice staff. A stone's throw from the Brooklyn Bridge and very near shops and restaurants. One of my preferred places to stay in Brooklyn! Wonderful

Recently updated to a more modern look, the lobby, restaurant, bar and rooms are all chic and modern now!

Location is excellent with good metro options nearby and 5min walk to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.

Rooms are very well appointed with updated lighting, comfy beds and all amenities you need.

Great room. Exceptionally friendly staff. Marie at the counter was a pleasure to talk to. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nicest hotel in this price range I’ve stayed in. Onsite valet parking is a affordable too!!!!

Certainly one of the nicer Marriott hotels I've stayed at. Staff was all very nice and helped get me a room w/ a nice view for a special occasion. Breakfast service was okay. I wish the lounge had some snacks for Elite members throughout the evening. But at least the lounge had seltzer water on tap!!!

I visited the New York Marriott and Brooklyn Bridge for a professional conference. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable and the conference rooms were large. The hotel is close to a handful of great food places, close to tourist attractions, and is close to the subway system. If you're looking for a place to stay or hold a conference at, this place is great.

Wonderful location. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Safe area. Near 2 subway station with easy access to Manhattan. Service is great and the bar has a nice happy hour.

I attended Flame Con at the Marriott, so I don't have any feedback about hotel service etc... But the convention space was lovely! Very clean, and the bathrooms were spacious and tidy. Because it was a queer event, all the bathrooms were re-labeled as gender-neutral, which was really cool. The PA system was easy to understand in every room. Overall a great space!

Great hotel with a nice location. Staff was very friendly and room was very clean. Loved that I was able to take a right out the front door and walk right towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

It was a great hotel. Very modern and very clean. Although I cannot comment on the concierge since i was only there for a conference, the facility Is in downtown brooklyn and has on site parking which was convenient. I also had a collegue tell me that the bar is extremely popular at night for first dates , amongst certain groups. No idea if this is true or not.....

The location was very spacious, which was a nice setting. From just around the corner, the Brooklyn Bridge was clearly visible - which is a bonus for those at this hotel to get a true experience of New York. Inside, the chandeliers made everything formal and elegant. My favorite place to relax was by the fireplace on the second floor.

Stayed in various room states from "Impressive!" ... to ... "when's the last time they updated this room?" Overall, very convenient, clean and centralized in Brooklyn Heights. Would recommend to family and friends. Convenient parking. M Lounge for those that qualify and a lobby bar. Shoe Shine Marco is the BEST i've seen!

An absolutely wonderful wedding. Place is large & very, very nice. The wedding had around 1,000 people, and there were no hick ups. Service was very professional, and accommodating. Food was both delicious, and presented very nicely. One of the best weddings that I have ever gone to. Highly recommended!

The rooms are nicely remodeled although the two bed rooms are full beds, not queens. The hotel was very busy when we visited and although I checked in early online, they gave my room away and had to scramble to find another room. It's now 10:30 on a weeknight and I can hear the DJ from a school prom 5 floors below.

It's a great location with great views and excellent service. I've stayed here many times and have been very happy with the comfort and quality of everything. The gym and pool are great if you enjoy those kinds of things. The food is good to great if you don't want to go out (although, there's no room service). The staff have always been professional and the location is pretty great (right off the Brooklyn Bridge). Of course, if you can get a floor higher than the 6th you won't have as much street noise but it's still not too bad. You can easily walk to many great drink and dinner spots and you have easy access to lower Manhattan being so close to the bridge and the subway entrance. All in all, I would highly recommend it.

Amazing hotel! I visited my brother who was staying here. I wish I could afford to stay here. The breakfast was incredible and the rooms are beautiful. It's pretty busy with people always in the lobby. A very nice ny hotel.

I attended a college graduation here. The facilities were nice and there are convenient transportation options close by. I don't have any complaints about the location, it was good enough for the amount of people that were attending. While leaving it was a bit crowded but it wasn't really that bad, especially considering the amount of people that were there.

I attended a professional conference on the ballroom. It was spacious with a nice setting. The room was well organized and ventilated. I would recommend the venue.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge and surrounded by shops and places to eat. The staff was helpful and parking was easy and extremely convenient. The room was spacious and included 1 king bed, a sectional couch and small table to eat at. Everything was as expected for a Marriott hotel.

Comfy and surprisingly large hotel by NYC standards. Comparable to a Hyatt. Only complaint is that there is not a store offering beverages, etc open 24-7. Gym, pool, and spa were great.

Everyone was lovely there, they even helped me switch rooms because of a incident and they took care of it professionally. They had this awesome M Lounge for gold members which was very nice!

Easy to navigate for a conference. Many different rooms for sessions and show floor. Was in a real easy spot to get to with lots of other hotel optons as well in case they fill up

Nice hotel but convention space leaves something to be desired. Supposedly all-day coffee service was also less than stellar. Nice staff though.

First off this place looks unassuming from the outside. Another Marriott you might say. Inside this hotel is very beautiful. The lobby is fresh and the check in process was smooth. The rooms looked freshly remodeled and were very chic. The rooms were very clean and well laid out given the placement of ours with the typical hotel roof view. The tv was modern and allowed me to login to netflix via the remote. Hotel is located right across from the subway to get pretty much anywhere. Would definitely stay again!

The Marriott Brooklyn Bridge sits in downtown Brooklyn just a walk away from the historic Brooklyn Bridge. It is close to multiple subway lines that will take you to Manhattan as well as multiple bus lines that will take you farther into the historic neighborhoods fo Brooklyn. The Marriott is walking distance from the Barclay entertainment complex. It is also a stones throw from the Brooklyn promenade which has the most beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline. This location has been used by the movie industry for many iconic movies.

The conference room was delightful. The place was very clean. Sound was not an problem nor was the facility. The bar looks interesting but the parking was slightly confusing as they also operate a car rental agency there.

This hotel is in a great location, and it's easy to walk to or find transportation to other areas. The Brooklyn bridge, Brooklyn Heights promenade, and other cool locations are walkable from the hotel. The room is large, the bed is comfortable (especially if you like a softer bed), and the bathroom is nice with a great shower. It's a nice room with a modern, updated feel and large TV. The staff I spoke with were all very polite and helpful. We arrived early (around 11am) and dropped off luggage, and they called us within an hour to let us know the room was ready, which was awesome and way before the 4pm check-in time.

I have a few minor criticisms, which are not deal breakers but are why I'm giving 4 stars instead if 5. The bathroom is a bit dark, in my opinion, with just two long, soft lights beside the mirror. I could also hear a lot of sound from the hall. I understand that it's impossible to avoid this to an extent, but it seemed like every minor noise from the hall could be heard in the room. Lastly, I could hear music coming from somewhere at random times of the day. I think it have been from one of the conference rooms, but it was mildly annoying (though not loud enough to lose sleep) and happened multiple times.

Overall, I'd recommend this hotel. I think at least some of my complaints were due to room location more than anything else, and they were more minor annoyances than actual inconveniences. The hotel's great location, attractive design, kind staff, and comfortable rooms make this an excellent stay.

While the hotel 'ticked' all the boxes, there was something missing, a real feeling of energy there. Also, the new 'M Lounge', where other guests could 'pay' to enter, was the disappointment that many of the Marriott Concierge lounges have turned into lately. Poorly (banquet/cafeteria) style scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, etc.; with no one paying attention to the quality of food. Same with the 'snacks' put out in the evening, dried-out, cold...

Interestingly there was no bottle water in the lounge, but the bottles (reusable) of water you often in restaurants, however, most time there wasn't any water available?

Only on the last day did I see management there (AM), and while one of them was assisting, the other was standing there. Might have been good for them to say 'hello', or chat with the guests to see what they liked, or even make eye contact?

The hotel is in a good location, but obviously needs some leadership and motivated staff to make it the experience that a Marriott should be.

Gray location for an event... Got tho keep them honest though ... Hotel was overbooked so they tried to move out some guest who were staying at the hotel until they found out why they were there. Others than that spacious rooms and great service.

Great hotel if you have the platinum upgrades. Otherwise still pretty damn good. Concierge is nice and accommodating, great views. Generally the hotel will bend over backwards to make you happy at least that's what I've experienced. I've been there many times but never stayed as a guest of the hotel. The staff get to know you over time, and you get to know them - that's the type of place it is. Only shortcoming is that it doesn't have a proper restaurant but the area is full of them so it's not that big of a deal.

The room was fantastic. It's located in a great spot with many shops in walking distance. The lap pool is nice. Complementary ice cream is great. I loved it.

The facilities and amenities have been excellent, and the location is both convenient and easy to get to. However, the lack of free WiFi has been most annoying.

Excellent accomodations, parking price reasonlble, and walk to downtown Brooklyn. Enjoyed walking overv the B Bridge to China Town. Nice views!

I enjoyed my stay at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge from start to finish. Ron Rivera worked the front desk. He was very professional, greeted me with a smile and represented the hotel with 5 star customer service. The housekeeping lady was awesome as well. I would stay again.
