Powersockets loose. Rooms were very hot. No air conditioning. Pillow way to thick. Minibar empty.

Ver good accomodation. We had a 3days buisiness program. Everything perfect organised, good atmosfeer and helpfull employees and staf. Next year again!

Good food, but understaffed. We weren't allowed to sit in a cozy spot due to too little personnel.

Reception was slow I was only one there and receptionist did not look up. Ordered food with no onions and garlic due to allergies came with both they did exchange. Ordered one hamburger to share as we were not that hungry got two. Service in restaurant was friendly so I paid for both Burger's. Rooms were clean king bed was two singles pushed together no air-conditioning. Price was 85EU with no breakfast. I would probably stay again. In the AM the receptionist was especially helpful booking us a room in a hotel an hour away. It is a beautiful plac.

the place looks pretty nice and being apart from the rest of netherland it's pretty relaxing place.

The hotel is nicely made with solid wood and all and has a english look inside.
Here they try to keep up the service level and prices are high.
All rooms are without ventilation of any kind, so if you have a hard time to sleep in hot rooms, dont choose this hotel in the summer half part of the year.
The rooms are dark, but they are large as in all Van Der Valk hotels as well as the hotel in general are Clean and hygienic okay.
I give it 3 stars max because of price level compared to the missing ventilation.
Staff could possibly be friendly and service minded, but weren't the best the day of our visit.

The only decent hotel in the area. The restaurant food is super good and place is rather busy with lots of local people attending. Very good meat dishes

We waren in Emmeloord en hebben genoten van het diner na een dagje Giethoorn samen met mijn schoonvader en vrouw uit Australië.

Prima diner!

Voor een zakelijk overleg met collega's hebben we een paar uur kunnen doorbrengen in de diner-ruimte, waar we gedurende die tijd op een correcte manier voorzien werden van wat drankjes en lunch.

Just went here for coffee and cake with family. Cake is high quality. Staff is very friendly and professional. Ambiance is great.
