Really can't beat this place for quality. The staff was professional and nice. The concierge helped us with dinner reservations and luggage Ta-Q-bin for our next destination. I was able to do many of my physical therapy exercises in the fitness center without a ton of modifications. Their restaurant was delicious. The room service was even better. Basically, a full waiter experience in our room up until everything was ready and situated, including us. Then he politely left and let us enjoy our meal together. The location is convenient. We had a garden view room and it was spectacular! The gardens are the jewel of this property!

江戸川橋から徒歩約10分。タクシーだと約1メーター。プラザとホテルが連結しており、館内が迷うほど広いですが、困り事は近くのスタッフに聞けば快く対応してもらえるので不安になる必要はありません。宿泊部屋もモーニングをルームサービス出来るだけあって十分な広さがありのびのびできます。部屋の高さは天井が高いせいか、10階くらいでビルの20階相当の高さがあり、景色でスカイツリー等がキレイに見えます。バスルームもシャワー室完備のためにどんなタイプの使い方にも対応出来ると言って良いでしょう。テレビもありますので長風呂も出来てしまいます。それなりの金額はかかってしまいますがいつかまた宿泊したいと思えました。

This hotel has a really nice garden where you can spend a whole afternoon. Some weeks night time you can also see some fireflies too. The garden has several very stylish and high quality restaurants which I can fully recommend to everyone.

I've never stayed in this hotel, I've only been to the restaurants and to visit the garden. The garden itself is worth the visit. From late May through mid June you can see fireflies in the garden. They also have a firefly "cave", behind the garden's waterfall. There you can take a very close look of the fireflies, but you may have to line up for a while. Many people go at night just for that during this season. Entrance to the garden is free. The garden is open to the general public until 11 p.m. If you want to see the fireflies I'd recommend getting there around 8 p.m.

Just checked in to this hotel. It is was I expected it to be and more. The hotel is great. The room that we reserved was spotless. I wish i could give it more than 5 stars. Definitely would recommend staying at HCT.

Top notch luxurious hotel! Staff amazing and did everything to make us feel at home. Went here two nights during our honeymoon and they really pampered us.

Everything is flawless. The staff is great! The rooms are magnificent and all the common areas are grand and luxurious! The only thing I might not be 100% happy with is the spa. There's nothing wrong with it, but I feel like I've been to plenty of better hot spring baths in less fancy hotels.

This hotel is perfect. We loved it I stay there. Next year we are going to come back. Thanks for all details.

Had lunch here as part of a city tour and was really impressed with the overall experience. The food was cooked on a hot stone at the table and you got to the restaurant through beautiful gardens.

It was very nice I like that luxury ohris hotel and management system was very good and the maintenance is also good if someone want to have had a notice I will really recommend it.

My partner and I love the garden and onsen most. And the concierge has helped us a lot in securing quite a number of restaurant reservations which cannot be reserved by ourselves. We would really much love to try some other renowned sushi bar, like Sushi Saito, Sushi Yoshitake, Sushi Sawada, etc. If you have special contact with these sushi bars, please do let me know and I would definitely recommend this hotel to some of the foodies I knew. Would be better if we can be informed of the shuttle bus frequency and where they are going. You might include that information in your information going along with the hotel key cards.

We are in a suite and have free access to the pool/spa. The room is fantastic. The gardens are glorious. The coffee is pretty good in the cafe. They don't have soy milk though. The amenities in the bathroom are L'Occitane! I'm super tired, sorry if this isn't in any order. The pool is amazing though.

Excellent staff and facilities. I stayed for one night and received complementary access to hot spring & spa. My room was on the top floor with amazing view of the garden and the city. Having free shuttle bus to Ikebukuro JR station is also a pleasant surprise

Simply the best hotel experience one can expect, even compared with top of the line hotels like the Ritz, four seasons, Mandarin etc. The attention to detail is phenomenal! If you are a frequent luxury hotel resident you NEED to make a stop here and experience their service. Location is the one weakness but taxi can easily get you to near by major JR stations. Don't expect to walk anywhere except for within their tranquil garden.

The Chinzanso hotel in Tokyo was Kiyomi's choice for recovery and recuperation from jet-lag after our arrival at Narita. We took a limousine bus to the hotel, a long ride. Check in went smoothly, and we were taken to our 11th floor room, looking south over Tokyo. In the distance we could see the Tokyo Skytree standing tall in the distance at 2000+ feet. In front and below us were the beautiful gardens of the hotel. Both the daytime and the night views are really beautiful from our room 1102.
After a night of trying to sleep through jet lag, we got up early and had breakfast as soon as the restaurant opened at 6:30. After breakfast we started our course of recovery with a leisurely stroll through the hotel Gardens. They are truly lovely, and a joy to walk through early in the morning. We could feel ourselves relaxing. The gardens are very quiet and peaceful, well insulated from the noise and traffic of downtown Tokyo.
After the walk, we enjoyed the indoor pool, with the heated side pools, and the heated outdoor pool. The indoor pool is quite large, and nice to swim in. The outdoor pool is great to just relax and let the warm water sooth tense muscles.
Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge. The toilet was a high-tech Toto model that flushed itself and had a heated seat. The bathroom was fully equipped with all the amenities necessary for morning and evening ablutions.

Excellent service. Big rooms by Tokyo standards. Beds a little hard. And for some unknown reason the cleaning staff wouldn't clean tea-cups/tea-pots if there was even a drop of liquid left; just left another one...

5 Star All the Way to the Concierge Desk. But if you are a vegetarian check the hotel restaurant menus first.

This hotel is one of the best hotels in Japan, so luxury and cozy. I sure to recommend you very much. However it is not good location(far from stations. Closest one is EDOGAWABASHI, which is Yuhrakucho-Line), this hotel has so great gardens that you can enjoy landscape and spend quiet, calm and tasteful time.
Addition to say, you can use free bus from IKEBUKURO, and also take public buses from SHINJUKU or MEJIRO station costed 210yen.

I love the lounge of this hotel. We could have the afternoon tea smoothly because of raining outside, I guess, so very pleased.

This is a great hotel if you want a kind of authentic Japanese experience isolated from the daily bustle of Tokyo city life. However the location is a poor one if you want a party type atmosphere or an epicurean experience. Also try to get to the hotel using public transportation! Ha! Good luck, because the nearest subway station is at least 10 minutes away.

One certain turn-off was that the free internet phone provided by the hotel by Handy only allows international calls to 7 countries--which seems to defeat the purppse of carrying around a free internet phone. This certainly was not the case with Handy used in Hong Kong. Restrictions to certain countries seem downright discriminatory.

No buffet for breakfast seem quite odd also. Limitation on the number of people with free access to the pool only to stiff the clients with additional fees for additional users? I felt like the hotel was trying to nickel and dime you for many things. Really unbecoming of a truly superb hotel.

Fantastic luxury hotel! It is quite difficult to access from JR (need taxi from Mejiro) but Edogawa metro is much closer. The hotel has all the amenity you can imagine. Many restaurants to choose. The room was perfect in every way. The garden was very pleasant and calming. Try finding all 7+1 gods of fortunes there!

I attended wedding celemony. Surrounded green, nice atomosphere and OMOTENASHI staff. Though 30mins from Tokyo station, rich natures in central Tokyo.

The 17 acre Chinzanso Garden at the Chinzanso Tokyo Hotel was one of our stops on the Hato Bus Dynamic Tokyo tour. We arrived for a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, a view of the spectacular garden, and a traditional Japanese BBQ at the Miyuki a two star Michelin restaurant.

The garden has many walking paths and was designed by Yasuzaemon Matsunaga in 1954, It is bordered by many wonderful Bonsai trees, some more than 500 year old.

Our host was well skilled in the performance art of the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. It was a very Zen like experience as our host led us through a serene 7 minute performance of graceful movement.

As part of our Hato Bus tour we were treated to a traditional Japanese BBQ on a stone grill at the Miyuki, a two star Michelin restaurant in the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. The black stone cooking surface came from Mt. Fuji. Our appetites grew as we watched, heard and smelled the aroma rising from the sizzling grill. Tres Yum!!

Myself and my friend had the most amazing time staying at Hotel Chinzanso. From the moment that we arrived we were warmly welcomed by staff, throughout the stay they continued to impress us with their attention to detail and helpfulness. The hotel facilities were great, from the beautiful garden to the spa and a number of excellent restaurants. The hotel room had the most spectacular view of the garden and the room itself was beautifully decorated. Its one of the best hotel that I've ever stayed in and couldn't recommend it more.

A beautiful, secluded hotel! Great service. Only complaint would be the location, which it's a bit hard to find on foot. Take a taxi!

I haven't stayed in this hotel, only been to the restaurants for lunch and the after tea a few times. Excellent food. More than the food, however, I always enjoy a lot the walk in the garden. There are people who come just to see the garden. Entrance to the garden is free. This hotel was the Four Seasons for some years. It's the Chinzanso back again, but at least from what I can see, besides the name nothing has changed.

We stay three nights at hotel Chinzanso. It is by far one of the best decision we made.
The concierge is by far one of the best part of this hotel. I swear, one of them must be a ninja (sadly, I didn't get his name. He must be the head concierge. If not, he sure be). He pops-up, always, just at the right moment went we needed help. They even gotten us tickets to studio Ghibli museum.
One must try the Mt Fuji lava stone grill! It is super good. One of the best dinner we had. Price is high, but the quality is even higher.
This hotel also come with its own garden. Lots of wedding were happening here during our stay. I heard there are even Firefly at this garden, but sad for us. It wasn't the right season for them to start their dance. The garden is beautiful. Great for a nice walk and photo.
The room is huge. Love the curtain controls. Just a button to see the whole city and garden. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The bathroom comes with one of these Japanese awesome toilets. If I were to make some comparation of the bathroom to the Vegas hotel bathroom. The 5 star Vegas hotel bathroom have a much bigger bathtub (big enough to fit 3). Not that we need to fit three. It was a bit small to fit the both of us. Maybe that is just stander in Japan. We weren't able to try the spa or the hot spring of the hotel due to our short stay in Tokyo and it is our first visit.
We definitely will come back to hotel Chinzanso again!
